Get to know me

My name is Nina, a 25-year-old professional photographer and aspiring videographer, with a passion for the great outdoors. I'm based in the Netherlands with my dog called 'Winter'.

From a young age, I've been fascinated by nature and traveling, and I quickly sought to capture these experiences. I mainly focus on assignments for outdoor-related brands and events, such as weddings, (pet) portraits, and product shoots that take place outdoors. I've been doing this for about 3 years alongside my studies in Creative Business (which I expect to complete in a few months).

As a photographer, I primarily focus on assignments related to nature and the outdoors, aiming to inspire people to spend more time outside and explore the beauty of the world, hopefully with more respect for the environment. These assignments can vary from weddings, product shoots, portraits, events, travel, to pet portraits, and more. I have also taken a course in studio photography, although this is an exception to my usual focus.

Why Photography:

It all began when I received my first DSLR camera at the age of 15. My father was a photographer, and initially, I learned the basics from him. After high school, I studied graphic design for a year, where I also took photography classes. It wasn't until I turned 20 that I really started to focus on photography and took a course in studio portrait photography. Around the age of 22, I registered my photography business. In the meantime, my travel and nature photos have been published in magazines or calendars by Columbus Travel, Zoom, Lonely Planet, and National Geographic.
